Mitra's Ranch and Balay Inato Pension, Puerto Princesa

MITRA'S RANCH

It was our first time to be in Palawan last October, 2008. My colleagues and I had our official business trip with an industry in the province and we visited one of Palawan's best destinations in Puerto Princesa which was just a detour on the last day. We visited first the Mitra's Ranch in Sta. Monica Heights. On the left shows the main entrance to the ranch of the late Senator Ramon Mitra. It is currently the residence of his son. The ranch has a great view of Palawan.

On the left is the front of the mansion, while on the right is the area  in front of the mansion overlooking Palawan.
After a quick stroll around around the mansion, we immediately moved to Baker's Hill, see my Baker's Hill post.

BALAY INATO PENSION

Finally, eating time at Balay Inato Pension. This is famous for its Haim Chicken Inato and is known to be the first chicken house in Puerto Princesa. Despite of the not-so-good weather, people can not resist their best delicacies and of course the best scenery within the Pension area.

I apologize for not taking more pictures of the three best destinations in the city. Like I said, this was our last day on a business trip and these visits were just detours. We also needed to leave on the same day...too bad! Anyway, I assumed I was able to give some information of three of Palawan's best havens. Despite of our tight schedule, we were able to take a peek of some interesting scenes in the city. Truly, more fun in the Philippines!

Until next time, God bless!

  1. Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your
articles? I mean, what you say is important and all.

Nevertheless think about if you added some great visuals or videos to give your posts more, "pop"!
Your content is excellent but with images and videos,
this blog could certainly be one of the most beneficial in its
    field. Great blog!
