Red Corner, Plazuela de Iloilo

Plazuela de Iloilo
Lunch at Red Corner

Our main intention of coming to Plazuela is to try the best foods served by the various restaurants here. While thinking what to eat, we roamed the area to take some pictures and to look for a restaurant that is new to us. Basically our purpose was to eat lunch here in a restaurant not found in Bacolod City. It was almost 11 o'clock in the morning and there were only a few people in the area. It was advantageous for us since we had plenty of restaurants to choose from.

At the right side of the entrance of Plazuela is a pond with colorful fishes. Obviously, this adds elegance and attraction to the place. In addition, according to Chinese belief these type of fishes brings abundance and prosperity to the business around here.

After ten (10) minutes of roaming around, we had decided to have lunch at a restaurant named Red Corner. The foods that are served here are Hong Kong style with a little twist of Filipino taste and style. My boyfriend ordered rice toppings (beef in oyster sauce) to be paired with a cold sago't gulaman drink served with a fresh cherry. I ordered lumpia shanghai with carrots, hot pork siomai, and yang chow rice to be matched with an ice cold softdrink and mineral water, I was not hungry at all.

Our lunch
We finished them all! The food was all delicious and very affordable, and the service was very good also. Although Chinese restaurants are found everywhere in the country, but this one is really unique in their own quality of taste. Now, it's time for us to leave and head back to Bacolod City. There isn't an ocean too deep if we challenge ourselves to venture and try new cuisines made from other islands in the country.
More pictures to share and stories to confess next time!

Truly, more fun in the Philippines! Until next time, God bless!
