English Cafe, USLS, Bacolod City

Afternoon Snacks at English Cafe
For students, faculty members, and staff of University of St. La Salle (USLS) who crave for desserts or hot drinks after every meal but do not have adequate time to go out, English Cafe has the capacity to provide the common types of coffee, tea, softdrinks, juice, shakes, cakes, noodles, korean ice cream, etc. English Cafe is established within the USLS campus near Gate 1 and Coliseum. Some students love to do some of their homeworks here, surf the net, or just take a break with friends and classmates while waiting for their classes. Likewise, Korean students love to stay here maybe because the La Salle Language Center building is just beside the two-storey, fully airconditioned English Cafe building.

Right in front of the main door is the display of cakes of various flavors, waffles and sandwiches. We came in around three o'clock in the afternoon, so it was fine with us if they almost ran out of cakes as shown below. We came here to try their Korean noodles and kimbap.  There were students inside surfing the net while having some iced drinks, good thing there was one table left for the two of us.

This is a fully air-conditioned building with wooden tables and chairs and some sofa sets for more comfort. The right photo shows the stairs going up to the second floor if in case customers want to have an overview of the parking space in front of the Coliseum.

Eating time
Finally, our food is here. We waited almost ten (10) minutes for my name to be called to get our food from the cashier's space. We ordered the famous Korean noodles which is known to be very hot and spicy and mixed with eggs and their delicious Kimbap to be paired with cold softdrinks.  We got ourselves a regular-sized Korean noodles for P50 for each bowl and P50 kimbap served with six (6) slices.

To be honest, I could hardly finish my noodles even though I was so hungry for the reason that the hotness of the noodles was quite unbearable for me. It took me almost 30 minutes to consume all the noodles, but of course, I could not take anymore the spicy soup. As for the kimbap, for a cheaper price it was already good and pleasant. The kimbap is already comparable to those which are available in some of the restaurants outside the USLS campus.
Fancy and tasteful foods are not only found in fancy restaurants. They are also up for grabs inside university campus to consider also the financial capacity of some of the students who want to taste some special delicacies like at English Cafe inside USLS.
More stories to tell and pictures to share next time.
Truly, more fun in the Philippines! God bless!!
