Destination Vacation:The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel

The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, Macau

             It was almost 5 o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived at the Hotel Venetia, just the right time to see the bright lights of Macau and the hotel itself. From the entrance, the hotel was already crowded with people, a sign that something is up inside the hotel which we were all excited to see. The Venetian Hotel is known worldwide for its unique interior structure and design.

          Just as we entered the hotel, the main alley was so full with people, both locals and tourists. I wondered if all of them had the same objective, that is gambling. But anyway, inside are boutiques of jewelry shops, gift stores, signature clothing lines, and of course my favorite, Starbucks Coffee. Due to our utmost excitement, we hurriedly went upstairs to see the unique designs of which the hotel is famous of. Shown below are the photos I took inside the hotel.

Almost everyone was holding their digital cameras and mobile phones upward directed to the ceiling when we came. Honestly, I was so overwhelmed due to the fact that the area was crowded with people and because of that we could hardly take group photos of ourselves. Truthfully, to see those jaw-dropping workmanship was indeed mind-blowing. Out of curiosity, I carefully checked those clouds if they are moving, however they are all painted on the ceiling. But for all of us who were there, they seemed like real clouds in the sky. On the other hand, the physical structure and the color of the buildings inside are patterned in the old European style. To add more attractions, there is a man-made canal called San Luca Canal inside the hotel with a few Gondolas for rent. The Gondola ride costs not less than HK$100 per head with a singing gondolier.

Well, it was almost dinner time when we arrived at the hotel's foodcourt. There are plenty of food restos and fastfoods to choose from. Some of us preferred the hot noodles soup, while some opted for tofu with vegetables. As for me, I chose to be a vegetarian this time. I went to the Pho Hoa vermicelli bowls and bought vegetables with dry vermicelli noodles with a little of vinaigrette to be paired with iced coke.

Venetian Hotel bus, free bus ride

It was time for us to leave, so we went out to wait for the venetian bus to take us to the pier back to Hong Kong. This is a free bus ride and at that time, there were three (3) available buses leaving for the pier exclusively for Venetian Hotel customers only.
