Our first stop in Macau was the Fisherman's Wharf Amusement Park. This is the famous amusement park in Macau and the most entertaining especially at night time.
Obviously the park was quite boring when we arrived because the adventures, the exciting sceneries and rides here start in the evening. There are a number of unique structures in here which are basically new to us. Luckily at this time, we have the entire area to wander around and take pictures because visitors do usually come here at night time.
There are buildings in the park which have a specific design for a particular purposes. The big white building with several windows, shown above, across the wide highway is closed when we arrived. This is one of the amusement buildings where some of the children's rides are available inside. On the other hand, the ticket booth was also closed. As we moved towards the main gate of the park, at the left side is a giant structure which is designed to be a mountain or a volcano covered with black ashes. In it are a number of doors that lead to various rides and games for children.
At the center of the theme park, several steps up is a huge entrance gate for another specific ride. Outside the gate are the two (2) statues of giant snakes which appear to be guarding the entrance gate. Since the ticket both was still closed, we went to the right side area of the theme park where the Convention Center is located.

These buildings are also part of theme park, unknowingly we came across this area as we exited the Convention Center. I noticed that the buildings and other physical structures here are Roman-inspired. There are boutiques, gift shops, rides and an outdoor theater in this particular area. This is my favorite part of the theme park because it makes me feel like I am in Europe, particularly in Rome due to its design of the buildings and the type of road pavements used.
