Artistic Diving Beach Resort and PADI Dive Center, Sipalay City

Sipalay Escapade with colleagues and friends - May 12-13, 2012

white sand beach in the city
After almost five (5) hours of travel by land from Bacolod City to Sipalay City. Finally! We arrived at their market and stopped by to buy some fresh meat and fish. This photo shows the white sand highway of Sipalay City and, right across this highway is the Ukay-Ukay store.  Across the Ukay-Ukay store is the market. For me, it is indeed a peaceful and stress-free place.

After ten (10) minutes of driving again from the market we arrived at the main gate of Artistic Diving Beach Resort and  PADI Center, shown on the right photo. On the left is the parking space.

The pathway heading to our cottages

These were the cottages where we stayed. The ladies chose Toscana cottage while the guys chose Enzian cottage.

If you wish to experience diving, then you go here to rent the diving gears and suits. The licensed divers will test your skill first in the  swimming pool prior to the actual sea diving.

This is the resort's pool near the bar. The locals called the bar as the pool side bar. The depth of the light blue portion of the pool is four (4) feet, while the dark blue is eight (8) feet.

Tanduay at the pillar at Artistic Diving Center
This long-neck Tanduay really caught my attention.  It is intentionally stuck in one of the bar's pillars. I was just wondering, why Tanduay? Was it the favorite hard liquor of the locals or the foreigners here?

A resort with a very big brown house for a family with many members and friends. You see that it has its own parking space.

We did not mind the long and tedious travel with dusty and rough roads in some places along the way. We all can not wait to see another white sand beach in the city. Although this is the most expensive resort in the area but they have the cleanest resort, and the service is indeed excellent. This is my second time in Sipalay City, and my first time in this resort. Definitely, not my last time. When we were in the city, I noticed there are still white sand beaches that are still to be developed.
Undeniably, we certainly had fun. I cheerfully invite everyone to come and schedule your summer vacations here in Sipalay City.
Truly, more fun in the Philippines! Until next time, God bless!
