Overcharge with Sweets at Calea Pastries & Coffee

    Calea at Balay Quince

           Calea Pastries & Coffee is one of our favorite dessert havens in the city. This is located at the ground floor of Balay Quince, situated along the business district of Bacolod City, Lacson St. 

            The photos I posted here are mixtures of two (2) events. One was just an after-lunch dessert with my boyfriend, while the other was on my birthday right after our heavy dinner. Calea Pastries & coffee is famous even outside the region due to its irresistible cakes and sumptuous pies which all mark the uniqueness of Calea.

           This place is always filled with sweet tooths and coffee lovers at anytime of the day. The bold designs which are painted on the ceiling make the place very conducive for relaxing while having a hot cup of coffee to be paired with sweet desserts. Likewise, the light fixtures on the ceilings make the simple place glamorous. I noticed also some playful frames in front of our table while waiting for our slices of cakes and hot drinks to be delivered. These frames show some of the colorful cakes which are served differently and stylishly.

         One will not get bored of their desserts because they present various kinds of cakes almost everyday. For me, a slice of cake offers more than enough for a day. Honestly, it always take me at least 30 minutes to finish a slice of cake. Of course, not because I do not like it,  but because it is full-flavored, delectable and fully-loaded with ingredients.

               One can have at least a cake at a time and two (2) slices for sharing. A good camaraderie with peers and loved ones can easily be attained by talking over sweet cakes and hot drinks any time of the day, with or without special occasions.  This is one good place to take our visitor friends just simply to try the very best cakes in town and experience the true sweetness of life has to offer,  only here in Bacolod City.
