Artistic Diving Beach Resort and PADI Dive Center, Sipalay City

Sipalay Escapade with colleagues and friends - May 12-13, 2012

white sand beach in the city
After almost five (5) hours of travel by land from Bacolod City to Sipalay City. Finally! We arrived at their market and stopped by to buy some fresh meat and fish. This photo shows the white sand highway of Sipalay City and, right across this highway is the Ukay-Ukay store.  Across the Ukay-Ukay store is the market. For me, it is indeed a peaceful and stress-free place.

Tuscana and Enzian Cottages, Artistic Diving Beach Resort and PADI Center, Sipalay City

 Summer Escapade, May 12-13, 2012

Parking space
Everyone filed their vacation leave on May 12-13 for one specific reason, a summer outing with colleagues and friends at the Artistic Diving Beach Resort and PADI Center in Sipalay City. Although we were aware that this beach resort is the most expensive in the area compared to the neighboring beach resorts, we still managed to get the most expensive cottage within the resort..hahaha simply because most of us were so desperate for some reasons.
We traveled almost five (5) hours from Bacolod City to Sipalay City. The weather was good, was not so hot which was good for us I think because we negotiated a non-airconditioned jeepney to take us directly to the resort. Shown on the right photo is the parking area of the resort and its main gate is on the left if this parking area.

SEAFDEC Marine Reserves, Guimaras

fingerlings outside seafdec
We visited SEAFDEC Marine Reserves in Brgy. Igang, Guimaras last April, 2012. While island hopping in Guimaras, we stopped by SEAFDEC to visit the area and as well as to buy fresh fish for lunch. While busy taking pictures, I noticed there were fingerlings outside the cages. There are several types of fish that are grown within the marine reserve. These fingerlings shown at the right were attracted to the net cages because of the food fed to the fish inside.

Ruins, Lighthouses and Manggahan Festival only in Guimaras

After a two-day vacation in Guimaras last April, 2012, our itinerary was to witness the annual Manggahan festival of the province. However, some of my friends urged us to climb up to the lighthouses nearby.
Going up was quite tough. There is a concrete staircase which is literally broken after maybe six steps. Unfortunately, it is connected with a wooden stairs which of course very unstable and some of the steps can easily be removed because the nails are already corroded. Then it is again connected with another concrete staircase all the way up to the ruins and the lighthouses.

Fiesta Cove, Sipalay City

Rest and Recreation at Fiesta Cove, Sipalay

My colleagues and I had our rest and recreation at Sipalay City, Negros Occidental last summer of 2010. Everyone was excited to go to a newly heard beach resort located in the south of the Negros province. We left early in the morning and all things were ready and intact inside the bus. As usual, you are going to see the photos that me and boyfriend took from the start of the trip down to our destination. So, buckle up and hope you will enjoy the ride!

Lalimar Beach Resort, Negros Oriental

Engineers' Teambuilding

My colleagues and I scheduled our teambuilding at Lalimar Beach Resort, La Libertad Negros Oriental last May, 2011. Well, for me my intentions were not just to work, but an opportunity to take some photos of the resort which I honestly haven't heard of.

Dumaguete City

nuns of St. Paul statue in Dumaguete City
Last December, 2006, friends and I had a vacation at Dumaguete City. I and my colleagues were very fascinated with the city since it is our first time to visit the place. We didn’t mind the heavy rain on that day while we were on the city. Honestly, there was typhoon, yet we enjoyed eating ice cream. Our bus stopped in front of the statue of the nuns from St. Paul where we decided to buy two (2) kinds of cakes at cake house nearby.
